Zamzam Sports Vs Nazeer Hussain Gymkhana
A massive win for Zamzam Sports, whilst setting a massive target to chase for the opposition.
Zamzam Sports were to bat first in the first innings. The opening pair didn't provide the team with decent runs to put on the scoreboard, however Bakht Gul took care of the missing action and played a beautiful innings of 64 runs and supported his side in grabbing some runs for setting the target. Shahid Mukhtar and Abdul Shakoor carried a partnership of 51 runs. Zamzam sports scored a total of 175 runs in 20 overs. They took it slowly. and even lost wickets but in the end were able to present a defendable target for their opponents. M.Faizan took 3 wickets for his side, the Nazeer Hussain GymKhana.
Nazeer Hussain's batsmen seemed to be pretty sure with their form and performance that they would chase down the target. Farhan Asif started batting for his side and scored 25 runs. Adnan Ali Bajwa scored 46 runs. The strong bowling did not let the batting order stand their ground and was quickly dismantling them and stopping from chasing the target. The last performance we saw was of Faizan and Ahsan Zafar who played a partnership of 50 runs, but that was just about it. The whole team was bowled out in 19 overs at a total of 152 runs and Zamzam Sports won by 23 runs.
