ZMCC Vs Alliance Sports

ZMCC were to bat first against the Alliance Sports in the first innings, with Syed Sami Ullah and Sohail Afzal opening from the front. Syed Sami Ullah was successful in giving his side a decent start by scoring 65 runs just off 36 balls. Sami Ullah played some great shots that included 4 massive sixes. On the other hand Sohail Afzal wasn’t able to score much and went back after scoring 6 runs. Ahmer Shah was the man with ball to take down the opening pair and later on became the highest wicket taker with 4 wickets to his name. Talha Tariq was the third man in and scored 15 runs for his team. Rest of the batting order was dismantled by the brutal and vicious bowling attack of the Alliance Sports. The entire ZMCC batting order was taken down in 19.4 overs after scoring a total of 134 runs.

Alliance Sports were off to a shaky start with their opening pair in the second innings of the match where they had to chase the target of 134 runs in 20 overs. Usman Abdullah scored 16 runs and Muzzamil Mehboob scored 8 runs. Idrees Durrani was the third man in and he scored 29 runs for his team. He was looking sharp with his form but was unfortunately taken down by Afzal Qureshi who was the highest wicket taker in this innings. Saad Ahmed and Talha Butt played a 24 runs partnership. Ahsan Lakhani and Faisal Ghouri scored 27 runs. Alliance Sports were very close to the win. On one hand they were getting close to the target and on the other hand they were losing wickets and also running out of overs. And it was about time they realized that they ran out of overs and lost the match by an inch.   

ZMCC won by 4 runs.
