Murtaza Sports Vs Labaik Sports
Super Sixes Championship
Labaik Sports batted first and were off to a flying start thanks largely to Fareed, who scored 28 from just 12 balls and he was given support by his opening partner, Junaid who scored 16 of 7 balls. The opening pair gave a perfect platform to their side to launch from in the later stages of the game. But once Junaid was sent back to pavilion the bowlers came back strongly in the game and never allowed the middle order to dictate terms. Only Saleem down the order scored 12 of 4 to give some respite and took the score to 67 in 5 overs.
Labaik Sports started well in the second innings as Saleem picked an early wicket in the first over. But Danish was in other moods and he did not give any respect to any bowler and smashed them to all parts of the ground during his blitz of 32 from 11 balls. Even though he kept losing wickets at the other end but he kept his composure and never allowed the bowling side to get under his skin. He was supported by Noman who scored 12 of 6 balls. The thriller went down to the wire and Murtaza Sports held their nerve and got over the line of the final ball.
