Viper XI batted first and were off to a shaky start losing their first 3 wickets cheaply without much contribution from them. After them, Abuzar and Saqib then had no choice but to bring some stability to the innings and that what they tried to do with their partnership. They played cautiously and did not hit many boundaries but rotated the strike well. Once they were dismissed Ahmed and Mubashir gave some impetus to the innings down the order as they scored 15 and 38 runs respectively in quick time, Mubashir smashed 3 sixes. The bowling was good from all the bowlers but the picks were Hassan and Mateen who took 2 wickets each to rattle the opposition. Viper XI posted a modest target of 131 in 20 overs.
The chase was off to a blazing start thanks to the openers. The openers, Kashif and Riaz made a meal of the bowlers as they smashed them to all parts of the ground and put their side on top with their magnificent partnership. Kashif scored 38 runs off 33 whereas Riaz scored 67 runs off 55 balls with 2 sixes and 5 fours, their partnership completely shut every door for Viper XI to come back. Viper's bowlers were helpless against the opposition, unable to take wickets or stop the flow of runs. Eventually, Tayyab Nadeem scored a knockout punch with 18 off 21 to give his side an easy win only in 18.4 overs with 9 wickets in hand.
